Here are a bunch of drawings and posts about my senior-thesis film, "The Birthday of the Infanta" my adaptation of the Oscar Wilde short story. Summary: It's the 12th birthday of the Spanish Princess, the Infanta. Everyone has come to celebrate, and there is much entertainment. Suddenly, the king brings in a small dwarf that was found in the woods, and the dwarf dances for everyone. The Infanta thinks he is so funny that she playfully throws him her rose. The dwarf mistakes this for genuine affection and falls in love with the Infanta. He goes off to find her in the castle and instead finds himself in a huge mysterious hall. There is a shadowy figure at the end, and he rushes towards it. But it's not the Infanta, but some weird little dude. Eventually he figures out this ugly creature is himself, and he dies in shock. The Infanta finds him on the floor, and when her uncle explains that he can't dance anymore because of his broken heart, she says
"In the future, let those who play with me have no hearts."

STORYBOARDS.
I originally made 167 story boards and I had to cut it down to about 112. But I really liked my work and ideas, so this little fast movie is dedicated to archiving my storyboards. The music I threw in there as a general theme, and it doesn't really match well, but it will do till I post my animatic.
